Our manager isnt really defensive minded so I expect a lot of attacking and not much defending.
Interesting season coming up.

I agree that Johnson should be on the bench, not just for injuries but to replace either RB or LB when they are inevitably having a shocker.
Johnson has shown himself to be a very impressive performer when he has played, a steady young player who will improve and gain confidence only if played. Definitely looks like he can make the step up. Seems to also have a good temperament which bodes well.

Id be tempted to have the lad Johnson on the bench ahead of Zabaleta too as he can seemingly cover both full back spots.
Until we get our inevitable slew of injuries he may have some issues keeping some of the ageing veterans happy

I think our starting eleven picks itself now (as per the OP).
I just hope Pelle goes for Masuaku over Cresswell.
Don't think Hernandez even gets on the bench now that Ajeti has arrived. Plenty of options from the bench:
Subs: Roberto, Zabaleta, Ogbonna, Sanchez (Noble when fit), Antonio, Yarmalenko, Ajeti
As I said, can't see Hernandez, Snodgrass or Cresswell making the bench when everyone is fit?

Don’t worry about who is taking penalties for us because we are playing last season’s champions ergo we won’t get a penalty. As for City when they get their, almost mandatory, penalty it will be one of the Silva’s taking it.

Agreed. Jack is excellent in the deep lying playmaker role.
I think that's exactly how Pellegrini wants to use him given the comparisons to Pirlo when he first signed.
